Star Wars
There are rumors flying around the net that the “third” installment of Star Wars will be entitled “Birth Of The Empire” (read more here).
Now, I’m a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy, but so far I’ve been greatly disappointed with Episodes I and II. Hopefully, Episode III will turn out decent. At least we all know to keep our expectations low.
Here’s a comical article from MSNBC with some ideas and answers to the question of Can ‘Star Wars: Episode III’ be saved?.

Oh, come on Chris. You sound like the geeks who complain that the special addition is blasphemy because Jabba walks and is computer animated. Yeah, that’s “Un-Star-Wars like” because they didn’t have the technology to do it. The first two were good. The first one is slow becuase they have a huge story-line to set up. The second one was great. Now I will give it to you that they weren’t as great as the originals, but nothing ever is (except Pixar movies, but that’s a huge exception). Come on, can you really say that seeing Yoda throw down wasn’t friggin’ awesome??

Yeah, the Yoda throw down was great, but that was about it for both the first two movies. Both were slow for the most part, but it was because of what you said-the storyline and plot setup. Hopefully the next one will be a little faster paced… Guess we’ll find out in a year’s time.

I have to say that I still think of you everytime I hear anything about Star Wars. And I also must admit, I still don’t like it.
