Cicada envy?

Yes, believe it or not, some people really do want those critters around.

He does it to provide an educational experience for his kids, ages 10 and 7, and to try to seed his yard for the next cicada emergence. “It would be nice to start a colony in the neighborhood.”"

  1. People are just plan crazy. I would be so happy if I didnt have these nasty things in my backyard. Actually I dont but you know what I mean.

  2. Well i’de first like to start out by sayin that i guess i can give away some personal info. and feel welcome here… Now that my cousin knows that Weekend Warrior is me,Bryan, thats my name, or as my friends like to call me, Elwood. (Yea i know Chris I don’t know how use an apostrophe! lol)

    Now to the Cicada issue. What was that guy smokin’! But it is true there are quite a few people that are making the Cicada Invasion worth their while, genises they are. I guess I’m kinda one of those people. I’m not “Educating” my children with them (I dont have any kids, i’m only 14,) or investing my life saveings into them and becomeing a millionare… But my pet Turtle eats them, so, well, there’s a thought people…
