Remember those good ol’ 80’s toys? GI Joe, He-Man, Transformers…

Ran across this cool video of breakdancing Transformers and thought I’d pass it along. The site is getting hammered right now, so you might not be able to see it right away. Keep checking back, though…it’s worth it!

  1. Gosh Chris, I didn’t think you knew who the Transformers were. I’m suprised in you lol! What about HE-Man, ya know who he is?

  2. Oh, yeah, I know He-man, She-Ra, GI Joe, Transformers, Go-Bots, M.A.S.K, Garbage Pail Kids, Micro Machines, Thundercats, etc… I’m surprised you know of them, Mr Animé. Those are all 80s toys and you weren’t even alive then!

  3. That’s pretty funny. Whos are Go-Bots and MASK? I know the rest but I don’t know those… or at least I can’t remember them at the moment.

  4. I don’t mean to butt in here… “Go-Bots” was a spinoff of Transformers only for little Toddlers. I don’t know if it was an actual cartoon though, I think it was just a line if toys. And I belive Chris is talking about the movie, “The Mask” with Jim Carrey in it…

Like Bryan said, Go-Bots was a spin-off of Transformers, and not nearly as good either. Same basic idea of machines changing into other machines, but just didn’t seem to have the appeal and originality that Transformers did…

M.A.S.K., aka Mobile Armored Strike Kommand (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088563/), was bascially a special ops type group that would go around saving the world with their “hi-tech” vehicles. The thing I remember the most was a jeep that would open up and a boat comes out form inside. There were other vehicles like that, a two-for-one type thing.

    Bryan:
Oh yes, Go-Bots was an actual cartoon. Check it out here if you don’t believe me: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0139769/

    Ah, the memories…

  6. Wow…going back in life here. Okay, I am not remembering the Thundercats though. Can someone help me out on that one? Thanks

  7. Here ya go Robin. See if this brings back some memories:
