Has anyone been watching Jeopardy lately?!? I don’t really get a chance to watch it, but I’ve been hearing rumors about something exciting going on there. Seems that new for this season, they’ve removed the 5 game limit on winners, allowing people to keep playing until they lose. Well, seems this has come back to haunt them… As of Monday, there is a guy that has won 29 straight times! Whoa, incredibly smart guy! Yahoo has a write-up on this, which includes these interesting quotes about Ken Jennings and his record $920,960 winnings:
“A lot of it is just God-given memory that I can’t take any credit for,” he said.
“He’s also got a willingness to study. A teetotaler, Jennings read up on alcoholic drinks in anticipation of the ‘potent potables’ category that can, and did, come up. He’s easily handled it.”

I’ve been watching it off and on since he hit the $300k mark. Its been really interesting. Its nice for a good guy like him to win and he’s not a dull contestant either. Wonder how long he can keep it up?

Wow, can’t beleive you hadn’t heard of this. The pizza delivery guy saw it on our tv the other day and asked how the guy was doing. Quite amazing…and a lot of fun. I’m sure Jeopardy ratings are through the roof.

Wonder if they will ever say “Enough is Enough” and tell him to take the money and leave. The network is going to really start kicking themselves soon.

It’s good publicity for them.
If he didn’t have nights with such above average winnings it would be totally great for them. I imagine they like it regardless.

They are talking about it on Sportscenter and other sports programs. You know it’s something good and interesting when the sports programs start to talk about it instead of sports.
