Paintball
Well, it’s that time of year again - paintball tournament time! Team Horseshoes and Hand Grenades is participating in the Fall Challenge Series at Diehard Paintball tomorrow (Sep 12th). This will be our second tournament. Previously, we competed in the Spring Challenge Series, also at Diehard Paintball, and came in a very respectable 10th our of 23 teams. Wish us luck this season!
Check out more information about the team and paintball in general, at the team’s (not quite completed) website.
Special thanks to Alex and Jeremy for filling in for some members of our team that couldn’t make it this week. (Paul and Emily, our thoughts and prayers are with you concerning your loss of a family member)
Also, I saw this posting on eBay the other day. Hmm, might give us an advantage if we can get one
[UPDATE: Results from our tournament are available at: http://www.digitalwilderness.net/paintball]

Thanks guys for filling in for Emily and myself. We really appreciate it. Emily and I will be happy to pay for your field fees, as I had planned on paying for at least those for people that covered for us. Or, the next time we play woods ball, I can pick up a coule 1000 extra rounds and give them to you all. Let me know, paul@go2fast.net

So how did you do over the weekend? I think I found a couple folks to play with down here in Nashville, the only probelm some are old rangers, and others are current national guardsmen that play very regularly.

We did pretty well, considering we had two paintball tournament rookies on your team. We scored 185 points, coming in 9th out of 11 teams. This time around, it seemed there were more “good” teams, but less “great” teams, so things were a little more spread out as far as the points go. More detailed scores are on the team website, http://www.digitalwilderness.net/paintball
