New Dance Venue

For all of you in the Cincinnati and surrounding areas, there’s a nice, new dance venue in town. The CopaCabanna is now open at the new Cincinnati Mills mall. It’s a non-smoking, non-alcoholic, more upscale dance venue with no age restrictions, ready for just about any kind of dancing – Argentine Tango, Bachata, Bolero, Country Two Step, Cumbia, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Hustle, Line Dances, Mambo, Merengue, Night Club Two Step, Polka, Quick-Step, Salsa, Samba, Slow Dances, Stepï¿½n, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Waltz.

They’re open Friday night, with a lesson from 7-8pm and dancing 8-11pm, and Saturday night from 8-11pm (no lesson, just dancing). Cover is $10 either night (lesson included on Friday).

They also offer beginner lessons on Sunday from 6-8pm for $10.
o Swing 1st Sunday of each month
o Cha Cha 2nd Sunday of each month
o Foxtrot 3rd Sunday of each month
o Waltz 4th Sunday of each month
o Salsa 5th Sunday of each month

I like to be hidden within a group when I am dancing because I will admit that I cant hear a beat to save my life so I am never dancing inline with the music.

Ah, don’t worry, the golden rule of dancing will cover you…
If the couple looks good, it’s all because of the girl (follow).
If the couple looks bad or mess up, it’s always the guy’s (lead’s) fault.

- Chris : Grand Jury seems like it would be interesting. I wouldn't mind serving on a jury...as long as it's an interesting case, you know, like they all are on TV and in the movies
- Paul C. : I was given the option to volunteer for Grand Jury or sit and wait for a possible jury selection. I opted for grand jury. It was fun!
- Jez : I got a letter for jury duty when I was in college, but didn't have to show up because I was away from home.
