He-Man on the Big Screen…Again?

First, there were rumors of a Transformers movie. Now, Yahoo (via E Online) is reporting that John Woo has been tapped to produce a new, live-action version of the classic 80s cartoon, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. There’s already been one big screen adaption of the cartoon, but it didn’t go over so well according to some, though I know several people that really like it.

  1. That first one was terrible :) I rank it up there with Garbage Pail Kids, The Movie.

  2. I’m sorry, but I absolutely loved He-Man, the cartoon and the “Masters of the Universe” movie, I am proud to say I have it on VHS and DVD. As a matter of fact I still have the very first Snake Mountain toy castle and Castle Grayskull in my garage, not to mention all of the cartoon episodes on tape-yep, you guessed it folks-I’m an addict!
