Umm, crack is bad. Mmmm-kay. That guy needs to lay off of it. IF the internet was going to end, do you think the hackers and spammers (who are supposedly the reason of ending it) would let it end? Then what would they hack and spam?

i don’t believe it. I think security is getting stronger, people are getting (slightly) more educated, and things will eventually level out. There are many new things being introduced with email standards that will help defend against spam. Viruses will ALWAYS be a problem. People just need to get … well … not as dumb as they are now. “hey..billy sent me a photo called my_vacation_in_thailand.jpg.exe … I’ll open it.” duh.

More than half the businesses now rely on the internet. Most applications I use to do my job, well all but 1, are internet based. I can’t see this happening.
Funny the man didn’t list an alternative. Without an alternative, the internet will NEVER die.
