Red Sox are World Champions
After an 86 year drought, for the first time since 1918, the Boston Red Sox are MLB’s World Champions, winning with a 4 game sweep over the St. Louis Cardinals. Manny Ramirez was named the MVP.

Congratulations to the Red Sox! This was a very interesting series for me. Because as a Cardinals fan I really wanted the Cardinals to win. But on the same token I wanted the Red Sox to also do well. I really which it would have been more of a series like the NL and AL championship series, instead of a blow out victory by the Sox’s.
