Greetings From Nashville
Hello from Tennessee! I’m down here for the weekend visiting my brother. First time that I’ve been able to visit him, and his new condo, since he moved here August. Been meaning to come for a while, but haven’t really had the chance. Now that I don’t have a job, I’ve found some extra time
It’s been fun so far. We played frisbee golf this afternoon, at Seven Oaks City Park. It was a close round, though he won in the end. After that, I helped him put up a chandelier, a “birthday present” for his fiance’. (Don’t worry, she already knows about it.) We succesfully got it up with no injuries; Dad would be proud! After that “hard work,” we went to eat at Boscos. It was pretty good food, though we had to wait way too long for it. We had Wood Oven Shrimp for an appetizer, then I had the Quattro Parmiggio pizza, while my brother had the Pollo Diablo pizza. Not bad at all. Afterwards, we headed back to his place and played some Xbox. First up was Tiger Woods’ Golf, which he beat me at. He seemed to have my number on the golf games tonight. However, I beat him at NCAA Football, so the evening ended well for me
Tomorrow, we’re heading to church in the morning (the one Chris Rice attends when he’s in town) and who knows what in the afternoon. I’ll leave sometime before dinner and head up to my grandparents’ farm, just south of Owensboro. it’ll be good to see them again.
Bed time for now. Hope you all are having a great weekend so far.
[UPDATE: I forgot to mention that I had some great music to listen to on the trip down.
TobyMac - Welcome to Diverse City
Jeremy Camp - Carried Me: The Worship Project
VeggieTales - Veggie Rocks
Thanks to Kari and Bryan for the birthday presents. I highly recommend these albums!
My brother got me Ian Eskelin - Save The Humans for my birthday as well. Even more good music for the trip back! Thanks all!]

Thanks for coming to visit me bro. Never be a stranger, you are always welcome. I’ll do better at finding some more nashvillian places to go next time. I’ll take you downtown and to the honky tonk bars next time you are here. I just didn’t want to overwhelm you the first time.

You didn’t take him to Wildhorse? Got to take him there.

I’ll take him there later. I haven’t been there yet myself, so I figured I would check it out first.

I love nashville. When i was at Murray State, we used to go there once in a while for dinner, concerts, whatever. Very friendly and clean downtown area.

Veggie Tales do rock, but only if you like to waltz with potatoes up and down the produce aisle! Hee!
