Now That’s a Big Burger!
In a time when fast food restaurants have intorduced low-carb menus and smaller portions, Hardee’s is bucking the trend and offering a Monster Thickburger - two 1/3-pound slabs of Angus beef, four strips of bacon, three slices of cheese and mayonnaise on a buttered sesame seed bun for a whopping 1,420 calories and 107 grams of fat. Holy cow! Yahoo has the story: Hardee’s Unveils New Monster Thickburger

holy COW! (no pun intended) They had a monster burger back in the day. I used to get that when iwas in college (minus the mayonaise). Thats just so so so bad for you. Wonder how much sodium it has. Probably enough to pickle you from the inside out!

That’s the kind of burger I like to have.

I can’t eat the normal thick burger, much less that. I am not a big Hardee’s fan.
Wendy’s classic single with cheese is the best fast food burger on the market.

Geesh! The burger alone is a freakin meal in itself! lol

You know, I wish dine-in restaurants would also offer the smaller portion sizes. To-go boxes take care of that problem most of the time, but some things just aren’t good reheated and sometimes you’re not going home so that doesn’t work.

Jay Leno had a good comment about this burger the other night. He said it comes complete with it’s own little cardboard container…..shaped just like a coffin. I still think it would be really tasty.
