Ken Jennings’ Loss
This information is from kottke.org.
As I mentioned earlier, long time Jeopardy champ was rumored to have lost in his 75th show. Well, that show is scheduled to air Nov 30 (tomorrow).
Here’s the Final Jeopardy category and clue, close but not exactly the same as was previously rumored.
Category: Business and Industry
Answer: Most of this firm’s 70,000 seasonal white-collar employees work only 4 months a year.
And the question was….
What is H&R Block?
Contestant Nancy Zerg answered correctly and ended up with $14,401, one dollar more than Ken. Ken answered incorrectly “What is FedEx?” and ended up with $8,799.

I will be watching tonight. Funny how many times the name changed of the person who was said to have beat Ken.
I guess we will find out tonight.

Well, I just saw the episode where Ken lost. I have to say he beat himself, rather than facing a stronger opponent. He missed two Double Jeopardy’s where he bet too much. That caused him to not have the insurmountable lead that he usually has at Final Jeopardy…

Yep, I was watching too. He really did beat himself. He didn’t looked too crushed though.

I agree with Chris missing the two daily doubles really hurt him. But Nancy did play a good game, I didn’t notice that she missed too many questions.

What?? Fed Ex Should have said Fed-Up I believe he was meant to lose. Sounds like another 64000 dollar set up to me.
