Today is the winter solstice, the first day of winter. The weather isn’t too bad today, actually feeling a little warm compared to the weekend and last week. That won’t last long, though. They’re calling for 3-6 inches of snow, with sleet and ice mixed in, to hit us up here in Northern KY. Bad for travel, but those wanting a white Christmas will most likely get it. My parents and I are heading down to the Owensboro area to visit my dad’s side of the family. We were going to leave on Wednesday, but we’ll most likely head out tonight in order to get in before the storm hits. Anyone else planning on traveling please drive safely and smartly.
