What Is That?

Some time ago, on my post You Know You Blog Way Too Much When…, Jeff asked about some of the “geeky” things on my site, saying:

I have no clue what a feedreader, RSS or XHTML is either. Never heard of blogshares, kubrick either.

I mentioned that I would explain what some of those are, but never got around to it. Well, now I will!

I’ll be doing this series over the next week or so, and will be hitting such things as RSS, XHTML, XFN, Trackback, Pings, Feedreaders/Aggregators, Blogging Programs, How to “Build a Better Blog”, Google’s new “nofollow” link tag, podcasting, moblogging, A-List bloggers, and other “important” blogging related sites (such as Technorati and Blogshares).

Some of you may find this interesting, some of you may not. I do hope that at least ONE of these things I talk about will interest you.

If you have any addition things that you would like me to explore, simply leave me a comment and I’ll check into it.

[Update: Added podcasting and moblogging to the list]
