So should I upgrade or stick with FireFox?

Personally, I still wouldn’t touch IE with a 10ft pole. Besides, the new IE will only be beta this summer, and the final version probably won’t be released until months after that.

Actually, Chris, i do belive the proper quote is: “I wouldn’t touch him with a 61/2 inch pole”… I’ve seen enough Grinch in my day to know lol…

I actually wasn’t quoting a movie, Bryan, but using the popular expression

i’m a firefox convert. i woudl use opera before IE. a new IE means new bugs and new law suits.

and for teh record, MS wasn’t even ever planning on introducing a new IE until I think the new windows version came out, but they are scare of losing ground with an old product. maybe they need to learn to perfect something old (read: should have stayed with win2k and office 2k)

another good site for thsi kind of info. they say that Ford has a big to-to with this. They threatened to dump IE for Firefox if MS didn’t come up with something better before the 2006 longhorn release

(By the way, it’s actually a 39-and-a-half-foot pole in the song.)
