Smokey’s Big Day
Well, I don’t know if he considers it big, but I’m taking Smokey, my cat, to the vet to get fixed tomorrow. Poor thing… This is almost gonna hurt me as much as him. I don’t want to imagine hurting him like that, but it’s gotta be done. I hope his behavior and personality don’t change as a result of this…
I’ve added some more pictures of Smokey, as well as some of his baby pictures. Thanks to Jennifer for these pictures. I got him when he was about 8 months old, so I wasn’t able to enjoy his baby days.

Don’t worry Chris-he’ll be fine. All you need to say to him is “Don’t fret, my pet.” Hey, I’m glad to see the pic of him and his kitty bed and the baby pictures-he was even cuter when he was a kitty-ahhhhh!

I thought we talked about this, Chris? Appearently you didn’t take my words seriously… *Sharpens knife*…. Your balls are mine… what you are doing is cruel… it’s not neccisary (can’t spell). If I notice missing organs the next time I play with Smokey… Than I’m going to defend Smokey’s honor and follow the Golden Rule (we all know what that is.) Seriously though… you brought this on yourself… if you are going to be cruel to animals than’ i’ll be cruel to you…

For boy cats it is very easy and a pretty painless procedure (hard to imagine, eh?). A little snip, a little stitch and he’s good to go. I doubt his personality will change much. May end up a little lazier, but thats about it. I’ve never noticed a huge change in any of my cats over the years…or dogs for that matter.
