2005 Goal Checkup - March
It’s time for another 2005 goals checkup.
Find a jobCheck! (details)- Find a church
Haven’t felt the calling for a church yet. Hope I’m not ignoring it…
- Have daily quiet time
Still can’t manage to get in this habit. Keep me in your prayers
- Eat healthier
Not any worse than the last checkup, but not any better either
- Exercise regularly
Making a little progress, which should get better with the nicer weather
- Practice my guitar and sax
Umm…
Upgrade my blog software to the latest versionSecond attempt at the upgrade was successful!- Redesign my website
Got a couple of designs that are in the works, but nothing to show yet
- Start my book
Still don’t expect this one for a while
- Keep in contact with “long lost” friends
I would have to say this is the goal that I’m the most success with, and one of the most rewarding
- Spend less time at the computer
Definitely accomplishing this one, now that I’m back to work
- Cut back on TV
Overall, watching less TV since a good chunk of hours are filled with work, but still want to cut down on the amount of TV in the non-work hours.

Yeah, I’ve actually been to several non-baptist churches, such as the Church of Christ where I went for a couple years, but ultimately the beliefs at those churches didn’t quite mesh with what I believe. That’s why me focus is mainly on Baptist churches again. I’m keeping my options open, though, since we never know where God will lead. What’re Trinity’s services like? That’s the Episcopal church, right? I thought you and Em were going to the Vineyard. Not anymore?

We do go to the Vinyard, but I”m a cradle Episcopalian, so it will be my preferred home. Its hard for me to consider a service like the Vineyards a service in my mind. Its not formal enough for me.
If you have ever been to a cathloic church service, that is similar to an Epsic. service, except we don’t really have any emphasis on teh Virgin Mary like they do.
