2005 Goal Checkup - Jul
It’s time for another reality check on my 2005 goals.
Find a job(details)- Find a church
Still haven’t found a church but I’m getting back in the habit of going weekly and I’m starting to attend a Bible study during the week. Feels good for sure
- Have daily quiet time
Showed some promise at the beginning of the month, but it slipped as the month went by
- Eat healthier
Definite success with this. I’m eating smaller portions still, less snacks fruit. Now, if I could just get some more veggies into the diet, I’d be good to go.
- Exercise regularly
Still not where I want to be
- Practice my guitar and sax
Practiced some guitar the other day
Upgrade my blog software to the latest version(details)- Redesign my website
Other goals are more important than this one, and they are the reason this hasn’t been done.
- Start my book
I’m “thinking” on the ideas that I’ve had recently, but nothing written yet
- Keep in contact with “long lost” friends
Slipped with some while doing well with others.
- Spend less time at the computer
Good on this one! My “sessions” on the computer are less and shorter than before
- Cut back on TV
I think I’m doing well enough with this. Gotten hooked on some new shows, and a new season has started for some others, but I’m recording most of them and watching when convenient.

Wow! You are so much more organized than I am–you actually keep track of goals. I come up with new ones and then forget about them later. So, this book you want to write… You know I majored in writing and I work as an editor/writer. So, if you need a ghost writer…

Lol, I’ll keep ya in mind when I finally get around to that book. Having organized goals is one thing, but actually accomplishing them is another…
