New NKU Logo
My alma mater has announced it’s new logo.
Here’s the old one:
Much better if you ask me! The only issues I have are that they messed with the school colors of black and gold, and they should have kept a shield in the logo, but I think the end result works.

I have a 24 pack of mnt dew with the old logo. Guess Pepsico shoudl have waited to print all these sponsored cans!

Actually, NKU’s colors are Gold and White!! Most of NKU’s students don’t even know that. But anyway, the new logo still doesn’t have any gold. I’m with you, I like it but it needs some gold. And what’s up with the orange?

The black wasn’t an origianl school color, and was just added in there to make the colors look better. I had several professors, and Leslie said she was told this as well, that said when the college was founded the school colors were voted on as Gold and White. Obviously, the colors don’t look good together without something else. The black just made it’s way in there, but was never “actually” put in as school colors.

The Color in the NKU Logo is more of a gold color than the yellow thats in the old logo. I know nobody that graduated from NKU has seen a gold bar but I’m telling you that that is very near gold in the new logo. NKU is making some great strides, hopefully all ending in a change to division 1. We will see!
