Motorola RAZR
Anyone have, or know someone who has, or has an opinion on, the Motorola RAZR? I’m thinking about upgrading my phone plan and phone and was thinking of getting this phone. Looks nice and has lots of features that my current phone doesn’t have, but wasn’t sure how it actually performed. Amazon.com has a sweet deal and a rebate that brings the cost of the phone down to…FREE! Can’t beat that price, but I still don’t want to be stuck with a phone that doesn’t work.

My friend Joe wants one. He thinks they’re awesome (his boss has one).

That rebate is only good if you activate a service plan with Cingular. I had Cingular before and hated it.

I’ve considered the phone in the past, but I personally don’t like the buttons on it. I like to dial without looking down a lot (say, when I’m driving), but the low profile buttons on the phone make it a challenge.

I think TigerDirect has some deals on this phone too, so you may want to compare. I believe there are different versions of the phone as well.

Yep, that’s the plan I’m switching to. If I get to it before you do, I’ll let you know if there are any “catches.” I’m not all that happy with their coverage area, but there are no contracts, they have some decent phones and the plans are pretty nice.
