Firefox Vs IE
Here’s an interesting post by Scott Berkun: Why I switched to Firefox.
What’s really interesting about this switch is that Scott worked on IE 1.0 thru 5.0, and was one of the people that designed much of its UI.
Are you using Firefox? If not, what are you waiting for? Make the switch today! It’s an easy install and will save you many headaches down the road. Trust me.

I read this article recently with an alternative view:

Interesting list, but one thing that isn’t mentioned at all is the fact that Firefox gets fixed a whole lot faster and easier than IE does. Once an exploit is found, and sometimes before it’s acknowledged, the FF team focuses on getting a fix for the problem and getting that fix out to the public. Sometimes, it’s come as quick as a few hours later, sometimes longer, but it’s never as long as IE usually takes. And the update is easy - you simply click on the update icon that appears in the corner of FF and bam, you’re done. No need to go to a spefic website, wade through a bunch of updates to find the one you want or have to down load a multi-megabyte update.

and if you use a bunch of the plugins that chris suggested, it won’t even interrupt your browsing!
