What’s He Up To Now?

As some of you may know, Bob Huggins was recently fired from his position as the head coach of the University of Cincinnati’s Men’s Basketball Team. Many have wondered what he’s doing now. Well, all I can say is that he’s on staff at a very successful college basketball program

Talk Like A Pirate Day

New Trigonometry

Could you imagine trigonometry without sines, cosines or tangents?
Dr Norman Wildberger, a professor at the University of New South Wales, is doing just that. He has rewritten the rules of trigonometry and eliminated sines, cosines and tangents.
New trigonometry is a sign of the times
Dr Wildberger has replaced traditional ideas of angles and distance with [...]

Firefox Vs IE

Here’s an interesting post by Scott Berkun: Why I switched to Firefox.
What’s really interesting about this switch is that Scott worked on IE 1.0 thru 5.0, and was one of the people that designed much of its UI.

Ask Yahoo addresses this question, though.
Why is gas priced to nine-tenths of [...]

Classic Cartoons

Well, I don’t really have anything to post about right now, and I want to get to bed early (read: earlier than normal) tonight, so I’ll leave you all with this: a link to a collection of Classic Cartoon Themes & Images. Nice trip down memory lane.

I’m Back

Looks like everything with the site has been fixed! I’m at work, so I can’t look into it much, but everything seems stable again. Haven’t heard from my webhost what the problem was yet, but at least it’s fixed.

Problem Update

Well, there still is no resolution on the problems that are plaguing my website. My webhosting company, bluehost (they don’t get a link until the problem is fixed!), has stated that they’ve had some problems with MySQL (the database) throughout the day, though. From the testing and debugging that I’ve done so far, [...]
