Goodbye, Landline

Within the next two weeks, I’m going to be canceling my “home” phone service and go strictly mobile. I’m tired of paying an arm and a leg for my landline, and with my new wireless plan, it simply makes since to only have one phone now. So, if you have my home phone number in an address book somewhere, start replacing it with my mobile number. Hopefully I can remember to keep my phone charged!

  1. that’s what i did when we moved to bellevue. i get good reception here, so there was no need to keep the landline. saving $25 a month is a huge deal.

now if only i can get back my rebate check for the new phone i had to buy…

  2. The only bad thing is now when you *have* to have a phone # for something you have to give out your cell.. I used to give my dad’s line but it’s gone now too.
