They ought to make it 50 cents and just let that roll for a 10 or so years… or at least 40 cents

Grandma and I went to the PO today to get some two cent stamps. Guess what they did not have any and suggested to Grandma to take three cent stamps instead. Well you know grandma. She told her no way that postage was too high already and came out without any.She was going to let the carrier deliver them to us until she found out we lived in Richwood. She should have let us have the three cent stamps for the price of two cent ones. Think we should make something out of this. After all they have known for a long time they were going to raise the rate even though they didn’t need it.

Wow, I can’t believe that they PO didn’t have any 2 cent stamps. You’re right, they have known about it for a while, so the PO should have had everything they needed to handle the transition. Way to stay strong and not get the 3 cent ones. I bet there’s a “honeymoon” period, so maybe the 37 cent stamps are still good…
