Survivor: Panama Cast Revealed
The cast for Survivor Panama, the twelfth installment of one of the most popular reality series, has been revealed. No one from this area is a castaway this time around. Closest is Sally Schumann, a 27 year old social worker from Chicago, or Melinda Hyder, a 32 year old singer from Sevierville, TN. Of note, however, is that this season has a former astronaut, Dan Barry, who is a veteran of three space flights.

You know what? I really don’t care so much. I’m actually tired of Survivor, though I’ll probably still watch it occassionally. I think it’s run it’s course, and there aren’t too many more “twists” that can be used to liven it up, though this time they’re really changing up the beginning:
This time, the castaways will begin their competition as four tribes: older men, older women, younger men and younger women. At least one Survivor each week will be banished to a separate island miles away from camp.
So the beginning will be different, but as the weeks progress, it’ll be the same old thing. In fact, this isn’t the first time that Survivor has been set in Panama. The Pearl Islands and Allstars competitions were also set there. Casting always seems to favor the young and “good looking,” too. Briefly looking at the profiles, there’s at least two Miss USA/Teen/America/whatever, as well as some models. Blah… Give me interesting people instead.
Ho-hum…

Glad you’re getting tired of survivor. I was tired of it the first season it came out

I’ll probably still watch every episode that I can. I still enjoy it.

A friend just IMed me to tell me that there’s a girl on there that reminds him of me. A girl name Misty(?). I’ve never seen Survivor, so I don’t know if this is a bad thing…

I liked Misty, one of my top 3-4 players this season. She was nice, smart (missile engineer) and cute. Had a some southern qualities about her, too. Sadly, she got voted off last night, hence the past tense. It’s a bit of a stretch, but I can see some similarities between you and her.
She’s the third from the right in the bottom row, with the white cowboy hat.
