We had someone sing “Keeper of the Stars” by Tracy Bird during the ceremony. All the other stuff was instrumental. I honostly can’t remember what we danced to. That’s a pretty good list. I especially think “Everything I Do”, “I Swear”, and “I Cross My Heart” are good wedding songs. I just hope that when that day comes the other half will want what you want, and it won’t be a problem. Luckily, Leslie and I pretty much agreed on everything from the start. I’ve heard that all couples aren’t so lucky!!

In the wedding we had “In You” by Mercy Me, and wanted to leave to “Forever and Ever, Amen” by Randy Travis, but weren’t exactly able to. Beautiful One, by By the Tree is also a good one. Good choice on Page is Turned. I had forgotten about that one, heard it at too many weddings. Oh well. I’ll find some more for you later Chris.

“I Swear” was mine and Melissa’s wedding song for our first dance. Also as a joke we danced to “Everything About You” by Ugly Kid Joe.

Good timing on this post! I was just telling Nick to be thinking about music this weekend. I want to use the Newsong/Natalie Grant song, “When God Made You” or whatever it’s called. I’m also trying to think of something to play when I dance with my dad. One list I found suggested “Butterfly Kisses.” I was like “NO WAY!!”

You know I’m not a complete romantic, so I disagree with you on the songs. I would want my first dance to be something a little faster and more sensual–like Louis Armstrong’s “Kiss of Fire”
Admittedly, if I did have to pick something more soft and romantic, I’d pick “Your Song” by Elton John. But NO country.

I know I am a little late on this. Ben and I danced to Clay Aiken’s “This is the Night”. If you rememeber Heidi sang “Only Hope” from
“A Walk to Remember”.
