Monday Mambo…on a Tuesday

I was tagged by Oddessey2000, so here we go!

From BlogDriveInsanity:

Hi mamboers! I’m here again with a mambo for you to fill out. Today’s theme is “Final Warning Day.” I can’t think of any good questions for that theme, so I’ll do a “which is better” theme today. You can answer with one or the other, or neither, or both, or name your own. Be creative and honest and crazy.

David Bowie or David Lee Roth?
Hotel Calfornia or Heartbreak Hotel?
KISS or Love?
Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page?
Faith Hill or Faith No More?
Safety Dance or The Hustle?
George Clinton or George Strait?
Elvis Presley or Elvis Costello?
Little Richard or Lil’ Jon?
Steven Tyler or Mick Jagger?
Keith Richards or Joe Perry?
Live album or studio album?
Fender or Gibson?

The rules are, there are no rules!!! All you need to do is copy and paste the above questions into your blog and add your responses. After you’ve finished, return here and leave us a comment so we’ll know you’ve Mamboed. Be sure your Mambo is linked back to http://bdinsanity.blogdrive.com so others can dance too.

Remember, there are no right or wrong answers. If one of the questions doesn’t inspire you then simply “pass” it. Just use your imagination and dance like crazy!

If you don’t have a blog or you’re an exhibitionist woo hoo feel free to Mambo right here in our comments section. There’s absolutely no pressure … although it’s called the Monday Music Mambo you can Mambo on any day.

Until next time, this is your music-lovin’ Mememeister saying have a good Monday and a good Mambo!

  1. Geez Chris! I think I disagree with you on almost all of them. Especially the first one. I mean, David Bowie! The Labyrinth! “You remind me of the babe”

  2. Yeah I don’t know who several of those are.

  3. Haha…I know who almost all of them are…even the country ones :)
David Bowie or David Lee Roth?
    1) 70s/80s singer and actor 2) lead for van halen in the 80s then went solo. Just a Gigalo baby!

Faith Hill or Faith No More?
    1) country singer 2) Alternative band in the 80s and 90s. had two lead singers that sounded alike. first one left the band because of narcolepsy i think.
    Safety Dance or The Hustle?
    1) great 80’s tune “you can dance if you want to, you can leave your friends behind…” 2) 70’s tune
    George Clinton or George Strait?
    1) lead singer of the Parliment (The P-Funk Allstars!). Seen the movie PCU? they are in it. 2) country singer
    Elvis Presley or Elvis Costello?

  4. now could you choose Gibson over Fender!? ha…

  5. Since people don’t seem to know Love–Love wasw a 60s/70s group headed up by Arthur Lee and Brian MacLean. They were influenced by a variety of musical genres, which was apparent in their music. One of their best known songs is “7 and 7 is”
