2006 Goals - March in Review

2006 Goal Tracking

  • Learn to whistle loudly using my fingers
No progress yet. Kinda forgot about it this month…
  • Learn three five card tricks
No new progress, still two down, three to go. Oh, Ben…you need to teach me some of your magic.
  • Learn five origami models
No new progress - still 3 down, at least 2 to go.
  • Redecorate/organize my family room and den
No new progress. Lost my motivation for the time being :-)
  • Get involved in a puppet team
    No new progress.
  • Take a another small business development class
Completed - I went to the class “Secrets to Starting Your Own Business” in Feb. The SBDC at NKU offers these free classes, so I’m going to look into taking some more, specifically “Accounting & Financial Management” and “Financing Your Business”
  • Get A+, i-Net+ and/or SAS certified
    No new progress.
  • Take a week-long vacation and visit another state and national park on my list
Took two trips this month, one to Nashville/grandparents in western KY and the other to my grandparents, too. I have some booklets, maps and such from AAA which I’m going to use to start planning the trip to Maine and New England.
  • Find a church home
    No new progress.
  • Have a consistent daily quiet time
    No new progress.
  • Memorize 200 Bible verses
Approx. 109 memorized. I’ve reached my saturation point, though. It’s getting harder and harder to memorize and keep memorized these verses. Having half of the goal reached three months in is great progress, so I think I’m going to concentrate on these 109, reinforcing them, before moving on.
  • Swing dance once a month on average
Went twice at the beginning of March and I’m planning on going the first week of April, when there’s a live band. I’m still on average.
  • Be more punctual
    Blah…
