  • Dec 05 - Chattanooga (at Louisville, KY)
  • Dec 09 - Indiana (at Lexington, KY)
  • Dec 16 - Louisville (at Louisville, Ky.)
  • Dec 19 - Santa Clara (at Lexington, KY)

  • Dec 29 - Eastern Kentucky (at Lexington, KY)
  • Jan 03 - Houston (at Lexington, KY)
    • Other than the Maui Invitational (which includes Memphis, UCLA, Oklahoma and Georgia Tech) and the traditional games against UL, IU, UNC, this looks like a very easy schedule to me, one of the easiest in the past several years. I think that’s a good thing, though, considering how poorly the team did with NC schedule last year. I’m definitely not getting up my hopes this year, but who knows…maybe they’ll surprise. The freshman and sophomore better step it up, considering how many players we’ve lost since last season.

  1. Schedule doesn’t look to bad. I’m glad to see them playing a NCAA Kentucky school again this year. I do wish they were playing Georgetown again but glad they are playing another Kentucky NAIA school.

What do you think about the IU game at Rupp? I wish finals weren’t starting that following week. I would love to try to get tickets and come down. I am definitely going to miss going to UK games this year, guess I will just have to enjoy some Hoosier games (arg that was hard to say), but hey its still basketball and don’t worry my dear UK fans, I still bleed blue and always will :-)

  2. Yeah, it’s always nice when they can play another in-state school, other than UL.

It feels weird that we’re playing IU at Rupp rather than a “neutral” site. I wonder if UK will return the favor next year or return to IU’s neutral site…

*gasp* I can’t believe you said that you were going to “enjoy” some Hoosier games! Maybe go to one and cheer against them, but enjoy?!? :-)
