2006 Goals - October in Review

2006 Goal Tracking

  • Learn to whistle loudly using my fingers
    I think I’m gonna just buy a whistle :-)
  • Learn three five card tricks
Eh, don’t care about this so much anymore…
  • Learn five origami models
Completed - I’ve learned/relearned the crane, the flapping crane, the frog, the waterbomb and the iris.
  • Redecorate/organize my family room and den and spare bedroom
This goal is done for the time being. Other things are taking financial priority right now.
  • Get involved in a puppet team
I’m the proud owner of two puppets and have plans for the stage. I’m going to work with my friend Tammy on this, but she’s out of town for a month or so.
  • Take a another small business development class
Completed - I went to the class “Secrets to Starting Your Own Business” in Feb. Next workshop is Nov 30.
  • Get A+, i-Net+ and/or SAS certified
    No new progress
  • Take a week-long vacation; visit another state/national park on my list
    Completed!
  • Find a church home
Attended another new-to-me church this past weekend. Didn’t feel like a fit, though. Too traditional…
  • Have a consistent daily quiet time
    Slacked this month.
  • Memorize 200 Bible verses
    178 down, almost there…
  • Swing dance once a month on average
Went to the Halloween party last week and have plans to go next week. That’ll put me at 5 for the year, not quite the average I was going for, but I can still make it.
  • Be more punctual
    Another good month
  • Run a 5K
    Completed
