Midterm Elections
Tuesday, November 7 is election day. Make sure you go vote!
Those in Kentucky can view their local ballot online at http://apps.sos.ky.gov/electionballots/. Knowing the ballot beforehand can make for a better experience, as you’ll save time and not be surprised by anything on the ballot.
This year’s election campaigns have been pretty nasty and sadly, many of the commercials, flyers, etc. with which we’ve been inundated contain half-truths, skewed statistics and mis-represented facts. Be sure to do your research before voting and don’t fall for the sensationalism and falsehoods that are being propagated by all parties. factcheck.org seems to be decent site for determining what’s factual and what’s not.
Go vote! If you don’t, you have no right to complain when the government doesn’t go the way you think it should!

I agree everyone should go vote. It is your American Freedom. I keep forgetting that tomorrow is election day since I voted via absentee this time.

Not much on the ballot up there in KY is there? May I can’t wait till after tomorrow till things here are over. All I’ve heard about down here is the senate race between corker and ford and the gay marriage amendment. There’s a dozen different races including governor up for grabs down here and then there’s a dozen or so city amendments that are up for ratification. It’s crazy none-the-less down here. But tomorrow it will all be over…now I have to figure out who will do better at addressing those things that I find to be issues. Too bad they spend more time talking about what the other person does wrong versus telling people what they would do to fix the problems at hand. Happy voting tomorrow.

i totally agree with you about not having the right to complain if you don’t vote. that’s why i don’t talk politics. i can’t vote when i don’t like either option. in the end, all will be well anyway.
