For the first time in I don’t know how long (well, 1999, actually), UK’s football team is BOWL ELIGIBLE! Their record improved to 6-4 today with a 38-26 win over Vanderbilt. A team needs 6 wins to even be considered for a bowl game, but even this doesn’t guarantee they’ll get an invite. However, with powerhouse Louisiana-Monroe (1-7) waiting in the wings, the team can finish with 7 wins, which will almost ensure that they’ll be playing in the post-season. Rumors are they’ll get the invite to the Music City Bowl.
