Amazing Grace
I saw Amazing Grace with my Bible study group tonight. Good movie! I was pleasantly surprised. For those that haven’t heard about it…
Amazing Grace is based on the life of antislavery pioneer William Wilberforce. Wilberforce, as a Member of Parliament, navigated the world of 18th Century backroom politics to end the slave trade in the British Empire. John Newton, a confidante of Wilberforce, inspired him to pursue a life of service to humanity. Newton was a former slave trade and author of the song Amazing Grace. William Pitt the Younger, England’s youngest ever Prime Minister at the age of 24, encouraged his friend Wilberforce to take up the fight to outlaw slavery and supports him in his struggles in Parliament.
This isn’t the movie I typically like (I go for Lord of the Rings epic, action type movies), but it was still very good. If you haven’t seen it yet, be sure to check it out!

Are you using the right email address? Gravatar can be picky…

Yeah, I use paul@paulandemily.com and I’ve tried all lowercase and re-capped Paul@PaulandEmily.com.

Have you checked gravatar.com to make sure your image is there? You might need to reassign it. They’ve been having some problems recently with propagation (http://blog.gravatar.com/)
