Daylight Saving Time Begins

Clock

Don’t forget to set your clocks forward one hour before going to bed tonight. Daylight Saving Time begins at 2am, Sun March 11, which means it’s time to “spring forward” and get an extra hour of daylight in the evening. If you forget, you’ll be an hour late to church or whatever you may have planned tomorrow. Since an hour of sleep will be lost, be sure to get in bed a little earlier. In case you hadn’t heard, Congress approved a bill to extend Daylight Saving Time, so it begins approx. 3 weeks earlier this year, and ends about a week later…for now.

Also, don’t forget to check/change the batteries in your smoke detector, rotate/flip your mattress, etc.

  1. I checked my calendar — and yours in the sidebar, but I can’t find a “Sun March 10.” ;)

I liked it when most of Indiana didn’t have to change our clocks… ‘Twas good to be different.

  2. Lol, thanks for pointing that out, Rick :-) I also saw I had “Daylight Saving Time Beings.”
