2007 NCAA Tourney Picks
Okay, here are my picks. Let the slaughter begin!
Just for the record…
I almost picked Old Dominion over Butler. Tennessee biting it in the first round was tempting. I couldn’t bring myself to pick Florida winning it all, though I probably should have. Holy Cross is a good looking upset, but everyone else is thinking that too, so I couldn’t go with it. Memphis will probably end up in the Elite 8 since I think they have no shot. I hate Duke.

What a tournament layout? Kentucky and Indiana both pulled tough teams in the first round. Villanova and Gonzaga have become decent first round players. We will see if they can both come out on top.
I went with Davidson over Maryland though I agree with you the Old Dominion over Butler was a tempting call.
I cringe looking at my brackets that have Florida going as far as they are but they seem to be on a role and could get far. I dont think they will when the whole thing though. I narrowed it down to Pitt, Ohio State, and Georgetown as my primary winners. The one pool that I am in has Ohio State vs Pitt final with Ohio State winning it all.
I dont know that the SEC is going to do too hot this year. I have Vandy losing to GW in the first round.
Louisville will make it through their time in Lexington. It is a home court advantage for them.
I like Notre Dame’s chances and my upset team is Creighton over Nevada.

Those brackets look very similar. I think we have the same teams throughout most of it, but I had to go out on a limb and not side with OSU. I have Louisville coming out of that bracket believe it or not. I had to do something crazy, otherwise all my picks were the favorites. You have one wrong though with Texax Tech, they just lost. You put a lot to stock in Butler though. I’m not sure they will do that well, I was very tempted to do ODU over them, as well as Oral Roberts over washington state. Really tempted, but didn’t. We’ll see if the gut feeling was right or not.

27-5 in the first round. Not too bad. Ironically enough, it’s the Duke picks that will hurt the worst. Oh well
