Oscar the cat seems to have an uncanny knack for predicting when nursing home patients are going to die, by curling up next to them during their final hours. His accuracy, observed in 25 cases, has led the staff to call family members once he has chosen someone. It usually means they have less than four hours to live.

They’ve been replaying that bit on CNN Headline all day.
It’s both freaky and sweet. hah.
Sweet in that many of those elderly folks who don’t have anyone there when they pass have some comfort and company right before they go.
Freaky in that… well… imagine if you were a coherent patient, and that cat comes and curls up beside you!
