There’s a saying that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. That’s certainly holding true thus far. Wasn’t it last weekend that we had 70 degree weather? Now we’re under a blizzard warning. Yeah, you read that right - a blizzard warning!

We’ve already had about 3 inches of snow, with some forecasts calling for up to 15 inches by the time the storm leaves town tomorrow. Some people are saying this will be worse than the blizzard of ‘78… (That seems to be just sky-is-falling media hype, in my opinion) I don’t mind snow - November through February. But in March, after we’ve had a taste of spring? Get it out of here!

Funny moment - I was at the gas station this morning, and another Mustang driver pulled up to me and shouted “Good luck!” The roads really weren’t that bad this morning or when I was out around 3, but seemed liked they could get worse quickly, especially on the bridges and overpasses. If you’re out and about tonight or tomorrow, drive carefully!

One positive about the snow is a shortened work day. Woohoo! Today was my three year anniversary at PPD, so I’ll take the time off as a gift. My supervisor did give me a plaque and nice pen, so at least the years of work were recognized.

Finals are over! My first two classes of the semester ended this week, with the second set of classes starting next week. There’s no homework or studying for a week, so it’ll be a relaxing weekend for a change. Too bad it won’t be 70 and sunny…
