Hilarious! Neil Patrick Harris (a.k.a Doogie Howser and Barney from HIMYM) stars as the villian, Dr. Horrible, who’s trying to earn his way into the Evil League of Evil while at the same time get up the courage to talk to the girl of his dreams from the laundromat, only to be thwarted by Captain Hammer (Nathon Fillion from Firefly and Serenity) on both fronts.
It’s produced and directed by Joss Whedon (of Firefly, Serenity and Buffy fame). Need I say more!
Acts I and II are up so far, with Act III coming on Saturday. The laundromat song is stuck in my head.

Neil Patrick Harris is one of my favorite actors…although I never watched much doogie howser. Can’t wait to watch these - thanks for the link!

sadly, i just read this… the day after it stopped being free. so now i remove my cape. for this, i cannot be the hero (captain cheapo… aka, the masked mooch). now i must patiently await the release of the dvd, for now i have become a super-villain. (dr. fanboy von snobulous… aka, the collector).
sorry, i was just reading up on dr. horrible and got inspired. i wish i could just be a normal boy and pay the 4 bucks to download it offa itunes. darn my need for free or tangible!!! there is no middle ground!!!

ok, so i finally got to watch this since it’s back up. i love it! but the ending makes me sad inside… this must be what pain feels like!
