Too bad, I don’t like coffee and the Chik-fil-A is too far away to make it worth the trip. The life of living in a small town in which I walked to my polling place, which was actually nice.
Waited in line for an hour and a half, but I finally got to vote!!
What’s funny is I always vote. Where did all these “new” voters come from? Why do they think this is a more important election than any other? Every election is important, and a lot of brave people have died to give us the right to vote. It’s just sad that only now do people realize the importance of their vote. Hopefully every election in the future will have this kind of turnout!!
Jez…you are so correct. Yes the presidential election is important but so are all the other positions. Where do our presidential candidates come from, but from the local and state elections. It is disappointing that a good portion of those who went out to vote knew nothing about any race besides the president. We can be hopefully that the turnout will be close to this years in future elections. I applaud you and all others that vote every spring and fall. And encourage those who don’t to get out there and show their support for the upcoming candidates so we will have strong candidates for President in the future.
