This is really cool, and really good.

The Muppets Studio has posted a new video on YouTube of all your favorite Muppet characters performing Queen’s rock classic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’
The Muppets’ version manages to be even more majestic, surreal and shamelessly excessive than the original Queen video — and even the famous scene from ‘Wayne’s World’ that served as an introduction to the song for a whole new generation.
Check it out below, and set aside some time for repeat viewings; it actually gets better and more brilliant as it goes along, ending with a rather unexpected and amusing punchline from Kermit himself.

News Flash! HOT Off the Presses! Christmas is on December 25th this year!!!
It took some time, coming very late in the year, but the governments of the world finally reached a compromise on when Christmas will be celebrated in 2008 2009 – and it’s December 25th! That’s just over a month away! Too late to save, so break out those credit cards, run up the balance and load up on gifts!
All kidding aside, will you go (further) into debt because of Christmas this year? AllFinancialMatters reports via Consumer Reports that 12 Million American’s Are STILL Paying Off Last Year’s Christmas!
Believe it or not, Christmas IS the same time every year, so why are people caught off guard by it? Why aren’t people saving for it? Putting aside as little as $1 a day THROUGHOUT the year in anticipation of the holiday will reduce the lingering stress that often results from what should be a joyous time of year. Spend the holiday enjoying time with family and friends rather than being bitter and resentful because now there are bills that have to be paid because gifts had to be bought.
It’s not too late! Prepare a budget and get ready for the holiday. Put the plastic away (or better yet, perform a plasectomy) and live within your means. Tell your money where to go rather than it telling you where to go. Skip a few lattes. Eat in rather than eat out. Look for deals online. Put a personal touch on your gifts by making them.
And when out shopping for others, how about skipping the purchase of that movie, CD, etc. for yourself?
Christmas is fast approaching! Seriously, where has the time gone?!? Stores have had Christmas decorations out for several weeks now, and the sales are starting to hit. From Facebook and Twitter updates, several of you have already begun, if not finished (!!!), your shopping. Being one who is not a fan of shopping in general and specifically during this crazy time of year (when we should be relaxing and spending time with family and friends instead, but that’s a rant for another time), I find myself too often waiting until the last minute to shop. For whatever reason, I’ve been motivated and have gotten a jump on shopping this year. And by shopping, I mean online shopping
I’d much rather look for deals online and have everything delivered to my door rather than driving all over town and braving the maddening crowds and traffic. I do enough of that getting to and from work every day…
***We interrupt this post to bring you this commercial***
If you shop online, consider shopping via Amazon.com using the search box below or in the sidebar. If you make a purchase using my website (using your check/debit card of course!), I’ll receive a small referral fee (at no additional cost to you), which will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
***Commercial over***
I’ve been tempted on several occasions to start putting up Christmas lights, but going to hold off a bit longer. In the meantime, I’ve been cleaning out my basement, desk, etc. Wow, lots of junk! My basement alone needed a good cleaning. I had five computer cases, with only a few parts left in each, that I’m going to find some place to recycle; tons of boxes of many shapes and sizes; model train stuff scattered everywhere, that I would like to work on but haven’t had the time in years; old, beat up furniture; and just about anything else I haven’t been able to throw away, thinking I’d need it one day but years later still haven’t used. Nothing like a good cleaning to give you the feeling of new-ness!
[Well, apparently the Amazon search box won't stay working...oh, well...]
My friends Lori, Dan and Kristi went to a taping of The Price is Right – and Lori made it on the show! You can also see Dan (going nuts) and Kristi in some of the audience shots. Watch the episode at the link below. Lori was the first contestant and made it to the showcase showdown! Yay!
The Price is Right – 10Nov2009
The Lord is my real boss, and I shall not want.
He gives me peace, when chaos is all around me.
He gently reminds me to pray and do all things without murmuring and complaining. He reminds me that He is my source and not my job.
He restores my sanity every day and guides my decisions that I might honor Him in all that I do.Even though I face absurd amounts of e-mails, system crashes, unrealistic deadlines, budget cutbacks, gossiping co-workers, discriminating supervisors and an aging body that doesn’t cooperate every morning, I still will not stop – for He is with me!
His presence, His peace, and His power will see me through.
He raises me up, even when they fail to promote me.
He claims me as His own, even when the company threatens to let me go.His faithfulness and love is better than any bonus check.
His retirement plan beats any 401K there is!
When it’s all said and done, I’ll be working for Him a whole lot longer and for that, and I will Bless His Name!Amen.
