2007 NCAA Basketball Tourney Thoughts
Ahh…March Madness. I love this time of year, especially the opening weekend of play. Nothing like it!
Today, the pairings for the tournament were announced. Here are some of my initial thoughts on this:
Kentucky gets a #8 seed - That’s about right. They didn’t have a good year at all. An [...]
Super Bowl Recap
*yawn* Another not very exciting Superbowl. But before I get into that…
w00t! Congratulations Colts!
I’m not so sure that the Colts really won it as much as the Bears lost it, but a win’s a win! It was a very sloppy game, making it hard to believe these were the two best [...]

UK Wins!
Woohoo! The UK football team won it’s first bowl game in 22 years today, beating Clemson 28-20 in the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl. Yes!

Ryle Raiders

Go Raiders!
Congratulations to Ryle High School, my alma mater, on their win tonight! The Raider football team beat Henderson County 59-28 in the class AAAA semi-finals. They will face off against defending state champ Louisville Trinity next Thursday, Nov 30. This will be the first trip to the finals for the football team. [...]
Bowl Eligible!
For the first time in I don’t know how long (well, 1999, actually), UK’s football team is BOWL ELIGIBLE! Their record improved to 6-4 today with a 38-26 win over Vanderbilt. A team needs 6 wins to even be considered for a bowl game, but even this doesn’t guarantee they’ll get an invite. [...]
